We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Driver/ labourer to support local delivery operations in the Moncton, NB area. This position involves delivering and exchanging products at commercial customer locations while providing exceptional service and maintaining a professional image.
This role is physically demanding and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle and transport products throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle inspections prior to departing on assigned routes
- Load, unload, deliver, and exchange products at customer locations
- Safely operate and maintain a commercial vehicle
- Manage daily delivery routes in an efficient and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Maintain a clean and organized truck
- Complete delivery documentation accurately
- Assist with general warehouse and delivery duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract
- Physically fit and capable of frequent lifting, bending, crouching, and carrying products
- Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable with a flexible Monday to Friday schedule
- General knowledge of the Moncton area
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive and professional attitude
- Previous delivery driving experience considered an asset
- PPE Required: CSA-approved steel-toed boots and work gloves
What We Offer:
- $17.00 - $17.50 per hour (depending on experience) + 4% vacation pay
- Weekly pay through direct deposit
- Opportunity for ongoing employment
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Additional hours may be available; typical workdays can range from 8 to 10 hours
