Summary
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to join our team in Canada. Seeking applicants for both our Saanichton and Vancouver locations, this role is vital in overseeing electrical projects from inception to completion while ensuring safety standards and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
Project Management
- General Project Management Duties
- Risk management, including identification and mitigation
- Client management and communications
- Project specific procurement
- Cost analysis and tracking
- Project schedule development and maintenance
- Specification and tender/bid package reviews
- Technical report writing
Procurement/Business Development
- “Key Supplier” relationship management.
- Technical report writing.
- Long Lead Procurement Planning.
- Support the development Project Proposals and estimating.
- Utilize network to promote Island Technical Installations and identify opportunities for business development.
- Identify, join and actively participate in various industry associations.
Process Development
- Policy, procedure creation and implementation.
- Cost analysis and cost reduction projects.
- Support the automation and streamlining of various reporting and data analysis initiatives.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Degree in Engineering and registered with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia considered an asset
- Must be a team player, willing to work with others in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced computer skills with basic knowledge of programing and automation
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Pay: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
