Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated reformer Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates techniques and a commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals. As a Pilates Instructor, you will lead classes, educate participants on proper techniques, and foster a welcoming environment that encourages personal growth and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Pilates classes for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
- Educate clients on proper form, technique, and the benefits of Pilates exercises.
- Provide personalized guidance to help clients achieve their fitness objectives.
- Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere in the studio.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage class schedules and ensure timely start and end times for each session.
- Lead by example, demonstrating leadership skills in both instruction and client interaction.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively manage class schedules and client needs.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills to educate clients clearly and effectively.
- A strong commitment to customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
- Previous experience as a Pilates instructor or in a related fitness field is highly desirable.
