Saucy Bird is a Vancouver flavour company making sauces, rubs, and founder sets by hand.
We’re looking for part-time help with production and fulfillment. This role is for someone careful, reliable, and good with details.
You’ll help with labeling, filling, packing, counting inventory, writing best-before dates and lot numbers, and keeping the workspace clean and organized.
This is not a chef role.
This is not a creative role.
This is an execution role.
The right person takes pride in straight labels, clean handwriting, accurate counts, and doing small things properly.
Responsibilities
- Apply labels cleanly and straight.
- Help fill bottles and jars.
- Cap bottles and jars securely.
- Pack customer and wholesale orders.
- Write best-before dates and lot numbers neatly by hand until our stamps are ready.
- Count finished goods and packaging.
- Stage bottles, jars, caps, labels, boxes, and inserts.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Follow basic food safety and production checklists.
- Flag damaged bottles, bad labels, missing items, or low inventory.
- Help reset the production area after each shift.
You are

Important standards
- No guessing on labels, lot numbers, or order contents.
- No product leaves without a lot number.
- Labels must be straight.
- Counts must be accurate.
- Work area must be clean before leaving.
- If something looks wrong, stop and ask.
Schedule
Part-time to start.
Likely 1–2 shifts per week, around 4–5 hours per shift.
More hours may become available as production grows.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
