As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas while ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and public areas to the hotel's quality and brand standards.
- Make beds, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, clean bathrooms, windows, mirrors, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
- Use approved cleaning products safely and in accordance with WHMIS guidelines and hotel procedures.
- Prioritize and clean assigned guest rooms efficiently while meeting daily productivity standards.
- Empty garbage and recycling containers.
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including sinks, vanities, toilets, showers, tubs, mirrors, and floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, light fixtures, picture frames, televisions, remotes, telephones, and other room furnishings.
- Inspect guest rooms for maintenance concerns or damaged items and report them promptly.
- Clean doors, windows, drapes, baseboards, air conditioning units, ledges, and other surfaces to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
- Maintain hotel brand cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Update room status accurately throughout each shift.
- Restock housekeeping carts and supplies and clean housekeeping equipment at the end of each shift.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Assist with public area cleaning and laundry duties as required.
- Work cooperatively with the Front Desk, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals is an asset.
- Knowledge of WHMIS and safe handling procedures is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Physically able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Experience:
