Position Summary
The Marketing & Sales Manager is responsible for driving occupancy growth and revenue through lead generation, sales conversion, community outreach, referral development, event marketing, and digital marketing initiatives. The position manages the entire sales funnel from initial inquiry through, move in date, and works collaboratively with Management team to ensure an exceptional prospect and family experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
- Manage all inbound inquiries by phone, email, text, website, social media, and walk-ins.
- Respond to all inquiries within established response-time standards.
- Qualify prospects based on needs, care requirements, decision-makers, timing, and financial considerations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and detailed prospect notes.
- Categorize leads into hot leads, tours scheduled, 1–3 month prospects, 3–12 month prospects, respite inquiries, second tours, third tours, and lost opportunities.
- Develop and execute follow-up plans for all prospects.
Tour Management & Sales Conversion
- Conduct professional tours that highlight community culture, amenities, care services, and resort-style living.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques and needs-based discovery.
- Address objections and concerns while supporting families through the decision-making process.
- Coordinate second and third tours, family meetings, and lunch experiences.
- Secure deposits and signed residency agreements.
- Maintain knowledge of competing retirement communities and market trends.
Community Outreach & Referral Development
- Build relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centres, physicians, home care providers, community agencies, and senior service organizations.
- Conduct community presentations and educational seminars.
- Coordinate group tours and networking events.
- Maintain referral source tracking and relationship management.
Marketing & Event Promotion
- Assist with social media, digital marketing campaigns, website lead management, online reviews, and reputation management.
- Promote all residence events, including open houses, educational sessions, and community engagement activities.
- Monitor lead flow and notify leadership of significant changes in inquiry volume.
- Participate in development and execution of annual marketing plans.
Respite Program Development
- Manage respite initial inquiry, update Director of Wellness after initial services and cost. Ensure DOW has all required information to follow up
- Conduct respite tours and secure respite agreements.
- Collaborate with management team to ensure exceptional respite experiences.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
- Monitor lead sources, conversion ratios, occupancy trends, referral performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Utilize CRM reporting and automation tools wherever possible.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
- Experience in retirement living, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, or related industries preferred.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Additional Earnings:
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
