Key Responsibilities:
· Perform deliveries and operate 24 ft. to 28 ft. delivery trucks as instructed
· Transport cargo utilizing efficient and timely routes
· Ensure that all materials are safely secured for transportation
· Receive and relay information to the Warehouse Manager
· Oversee and conduct daily inspections of vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, etc., and report vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
· Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external clients
· Accurate completion of driver logbook and inspection reports as required
· Completion of other reporting requirements when necessary
· Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Education, Skills, Experience & Training Required:
· Valid DZ Driver’s License
· Clean Driver’s Abstract & CVOR
· Capable of lifting 50lbs
· Team player and willing to work with others
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors
· Forklift certified or previous experience with a forklift is an asset
· Industry experience with fasteners is an asset
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
Work Location: On the road
