We’re Hiring! Butter and Spice Bakeshop is looking for a talented Full time Baker to join our creative and passionate team! If you love baking and want to be part of a dynamic environment where innovation meets tradition, we want to hear from you.
Location: 1418 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1Y5
Working Hours: early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to get to the shop for 5am.
Days needed Tuesday to Saturday with 5am starts on Wednesdays and Fridays.
What You’ll Do:
- Bake cakes and cookies
-fulfilling wholesale orders, decorating website cakes
-Swiss meringue buttercream cake decorating skills are a MUST
-Ensure consistency and quality by following our recipes, with opportunities to create new ones.
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
-Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
-Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items.
-Assist with packaging and presentation for display and customer orders.
What We’re Looking For:
-Proven baking skills, especially with cakes
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to get to work for 5am
-Must have previous cake decorating experience at another bakery
-Someone who can work independently
-Experience in food preparation within a professional kitchen or bakery.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and create recipes.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Certification in baking is mandatory
-Passion for baking and staying updated with industry trends.
