Fashion Creation Instructor: Inspire- Create-Mentor

If so, MC College is looking for a talented Fashion Creation Instructor to join our Fashion Design and Apparel Production program.
As an instructor, you'll do more than teach—you'll mentor, inspire, and help students develop the technical skills and confidence needed to succeed in today's fashion industry.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging instruction in the Fashion Creation course within the Fashion Design and Apparel Production program.
- Follow course outlines to facilitate student learning in:
- Flat pattern drafting
- Garment construction
- Industrial and domestic sewing techniques
- Production sewing
- Garment fitting and finishing
- Fashion design and apparel production
- Demonstrate professional sewing methods, garment assembly, alterations, and construction techniques.
- Develop creative lesson plans, lectures, and hands-on demonstrations that inspire student success.
- Assess, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on student projects and garment creation.
- Foster a positive, creative, and supportive learning environment.
What You Bring
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Professional experience in fashion design, garment production, and apparel manufacturing.
- Advanced sewing and garment construction skills, including pattern interpretation, garment assembly, fitting, alterations, and finishing techniques.
- Experience working with a variety of industrial and domestic sewing equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and passionate about helping students succeed.
- Professional integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to confidentiality.
- A genuine enthusiasm for fashion, creativity, and mentoring future industry professionals.
