Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and grilling to ensure high-quality, flavorful dishes are consistently delivered.
- Lead the kitchen team in meal assembly, cooking, and presentation, maintaining efficiency during busy hours.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to promote a safe dining environment.
- Serve guests with a positive attitude, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area to meet health regulations.
- Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs for restocking to management.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly with grilling or food preparation roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of ingredients.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in grilling and meal assembly.
- Demonstrated ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a lively, positive demeanor.
- Previous experience working in the food industry or a fast-paced restaurant setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
