Landmark Bus Lines is a trusted provider of student transportation across Ontario, safely transporting thousands of students each day. We are currently seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our maintenance team in Alliston, Ontario. This is a hands-on leadership role for a licensed 310T Technician who is passionate about safety, quality workmanship, and mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of technicians and shop staff
- Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance and repair work
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on school buses and fleet vehicles
- Ensure all repairs meet Ministry of Transportation (MTO) standards and company safety requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory management
- Foster a positive, safety-focused team environment
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence (Required)
- 3–5 years of fleet maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of MTO inspections and commercial vehicle regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently while managing daily shop operations
