With branch locations in Victoria, Nanaimo, and Courtenay, we also support asphalt paving and sealcoating projects through our partnership with OK Industries.
We are actively seeking Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs). Previous experience is considered an asset; however, we are prepared to train suitable candidates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person Certificate, or willingness to complete the required 2-day training course
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including on-call shifts
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) WCB and MOT safe work procedures
- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, monitor, and dismantle traffic control signage and equipment at work sites
- Safely implement lane closures and manage traffic movement
- Communicate clear directions to motorists, pedestrians, and work crews
- Demonstrate professionalism and maintain a safety-focused approach at all times
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Wage: $24 – $30
