ROLE PURPOSE
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day supply chain and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role coordinates shipments, inventory movement, vendor interactions, and shipping activities to ensure materials and finished goods are delivered accurately and on time. The position plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting production demands, and ensuring effective logistics processes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Production Support

Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, Shipping, and cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency, cost-effective solutions, and project timelines.

Coordinate the internal distribution of materials required for production.
Shipping & Receiving

Support the development and implementation of logistics procedures and processes.

Generate and maintain purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approval requirements.

Communicate with customers regarding shipping schedules and delivery requirements.

Coordinate outbound shipments and work closely with carriers to support on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery performance.

Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documentation.

Identify and resolve transportation, logistics, import/export, or customer-related concerns.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support shipping and receiving performance objectives.
Inventory Management

Monitor and manage inventory levels to support production requirements and customer demand.

Analyze and report on logistics and inventory metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Data & Documentation

Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, Bills of Lading (BOL), and USMCA documentation.

Maintain accurate records and process order updates in the ERP system.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

University degree or college diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

3–5 years’ experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, or inventory coordination (manufacturing environment preferred).

Experience with ERP and/or MRP systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs.

Strong attention to detail with proven problem-solving ability.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Strong communication and decision-making skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This role operates in a production environment; employees are exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, variable temperatures and fragrances.

COMPENSATION
The compensation range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 annually.
Final compensation will be based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
