Position Summary:
The Furniture Delivery Driver will be responsible for helping us deliver and set up merchandise from the warehouse to customers’ homes. You will be required to have 5-ton delivery truck driving experience. This position will be based out of South Edmonton, AB and you will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily local delivery of home furniture in the Edmonton area
- Assist in the loading of merchandise in and out of trucks
- Securing your load in a safe and proper fashion
- Assist in the pulling and preparation of the merchandise for delivery
- Clean and wash delivery truck as required
- Notify management when service is required on delivery trucks
- Shift is Tuesday to Saturday
Job Qualifications:
- Class 5 license (air brakes not required)
- Have at least two years of experience driving a 5-ton truck
- Driver’s abstract will be required during the interview process and a Criminal Background check will be required to ensure our customer's and your co-worker’s safety
- Physical capability to handle furniture
- Team-oriented personality
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
