Rigging Shop Team Member

Responsibility and Position Outline :
Fabrication / Installation
You will be required to build/install wire rope, chain and other types of rigging as production orders are made. This will include the knowledge of how to splice, hand splice, press, coil, calculate working load limits, assemble and tag completed products correctly.
This position is physically demanding; you will consistently need to be able to lift 50lbs +
Inspection, Certification and Re-Certification
You will help with all inspections, certifications, and re-certs; and that they are done correctly and in accordance with procedures.
Training
You will need be given full training in all things associated with the rigging shop and your tasks. Experience isnt required but would be an asset
Tracking
Assist in keeping accurate track record of certifications, reel cards, etc
Warehousing
Help organize the rigging racking and skids of product in a manor that is efficient and kept organized. Keep all chain and fittings organized and put away correctly. Having a forklift ticket is an asset but not required
Team
Work together with everyone in the organization to grow and ensure everyone’s long term success at and away from the workplace.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
