Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, craft and serve beverages responsibly, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills. Previous bar experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The bartender will play a key role in maintaining the bar's smooth operation while adhering to all Smart Serve and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive atmosphere
- Use POS system, order processing and cash handling
- Manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Ensure compliance with all Smart Serve policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably as a bartender
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on creating a welcoming guest experience
