Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all manufacturing equipment throughout the plant. The Millwright is required to repair industrial equipment such as conveyor systems, production and packaging machinery. They are also required to install, dismantle, repair, reassemble and move machinery within the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines
2. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and/ or using precision measuring/ testing instruments
3. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools, examining form and texture of parts
4. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments
5. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bops and straightedges
6. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment; conserves maintenance resources by using equipment/ supplies as needed to obtain desired results
7. Maintains a clean workplace

Pay: $39.00-$55.00 per hour

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- millwright, Red Seal: 2 years (preferred)
