Overview
We are seeking dedicated and personable Full Time Sales Associates to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to effectively promote and sell products. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demonstrations are highly valued. The position requires strong organizational skills, time management, and proficiency in retail sales tools such as POS systems. Candidates should be comfortable handling cash, performing basic math, and upselling products to meet customer needs. Fluency in English is required, with multilingual skills considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions or discounts
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring product availability
- Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and issuing receipts
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for product demos and POS systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities (English required; additional languages are a plus)
- Experience in technology sales or merchandising is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Familiarity with phone etiquette, upselling techniques, and organizational skills are desirable traits for success in this role
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
