- Lumber, sawmill, OSB, or engineered wood products

- Manufacturing and/or maintaining machinery
- Industrial field service or maintenance experience
- ERP system experience, preferably Epicor
We're hiring a Technical Sales Representative to join an established, innovative team serving the global engineered wood products industry. This isn't a traditional "sales" role, you'll become a technical resource and trusted partner for customers, helping them find solutions, identify equipment upgrades, and support their operations.
What you'll do:
- Build long-term relationships with customers across the wood products industry
- Visit customer facilities and work directly with maintenance teams, engineers, and plant leadership
- Provide technical support and application guidance
- Identify opportunities for parts, upgrades, retrofits, and equipment improvements
- Help develop technical quotes and proposals
- Coordinate with internal sales, service, manufacturing, and technical teams
- Travel approximately 1–2 times per month throughout Canada, the U.S., and occasionally internationally
You'll need strong communication skills, a natural ability to build relationships, and the confidence to have conversations with customers and understand their needs.
Sales experience is an asset—but we'll help you develop that side of the role if you bring the technical foundation and the right attitude.
