Pine Creek Dental is seeking a Full Time Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to be a part of our team! We are a new Dental Clinic in Southwest Calgary offering a full-range of Dental Services catering to patients of all ages. Our patients' care, comfort, and convenience are of the utmost importance, along with a fun and positive working environment! Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience as a Dental Receptionist, Administration, or equivalent (1+ years)
- Previous experience as an RDA is desirable
Skills
- Proficiency in Dentrix practice management software is preferred.
- Proficiency in Recall Max software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to a dental office setting.
- Cross training with clinical duties is an asset.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to ensure efficient documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including phone systems and computers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving office processes.
- Microsoft office and google drive proficiency.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls in a professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar to optimize clinical efficiency and patient flow, focusing on DDS treatment.
- Manage patient treatment consultations, payment plans, and outstanding DDS treatment.
- If trained as an RDA, support clinical operations in the back as required.
- Handle electronic medical records with accuracy, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information to facilitate billing and payments.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Communicate effectively with dental staff to coordinate patient care and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Utilize Dentrix and RecallMax software for scheduling, billing, and record management.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office environment that reflects professionalism.
Start Date: ASAP
Weekly Schedule
- 32-44 Hours Per Week
- Tuesday, Wednesday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Thursday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
- One Saturday per month: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
