Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance sales
- Manage merchandising displays and ensure the store is organized and inviting
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain accurate cash register balances and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Uphold store policies on safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient store operations
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is a plus
- Bilingual skills (English and another language) are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
