Inspired by classic Italian cafés and neighborhood delis, Ciccio’s is built on simple food done right, great coffee, genuine hospitality, and a growing pastry program that has become a huge part of our identity.
Created by Montreal restaurateur Gian Paolo De Riggi, Ciccio’s was built with one simple idea:
“We sell sandwiches and coffee, but what we really serve is love and comfort.”
That idea guides everything we do.
As our company continues to grow, our pastry department is evolving with it. Our Head Pastry Chef, Mahta, has helped build one of the most loved parts of the Ciccio’s experience — and as she transitions into a larger creative and leadership role within the company, we’re looking for someone exceptional to help continue executing the standard she helped create.

We’re looking for someone who understands that pastry and baking is about precision, consistency, cleanliness, timing, and execution.
You do not need to create recipes from scratch — but you must be able to follow recipes, techniques, systems, and production standards carefully and professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and produce Ciccio’s pastry recipes with consistency and care
- Follow recipes, techniques, measurements, and production systems precisely
- Assist with daily pastry and dessert production
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food safety standards
- Work efficiently during high-volume production periods
- Help maintain consistency across all Ciccio’s locations
- Support the pastry team and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
- Represent the Ciccio’s standard with pride and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow recipes and systems precisely

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous pastry, baking, or kitchen experience is an asset — but attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn matter just as much
