We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent team management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our establishment runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales reports and cost control measures.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed to maintain quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order management and financial reporting.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a cook or in kitchen operations is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
