Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled vacuum / pump truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a vacuum truck safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment. This position allows for a 10hr 4 day work week.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vacuum and pump trucks to transport liquids, sludge, or other materials to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience operating a vacuum truck driving with a valid BCDL Class1, Class 3 or a Class 5 with air endorsement.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety in all driving operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
