Casa 1881 is a modern Italian restaurant located inside The Windsor Hotel in the heart of Stratford. Inspired by the timeless hospitality of Italy, we serve authentic Italian cuisine, an exceptional all-Italian wine list, handcrafted cocktails, and warm, genuine service.
We're looking for a friendly, polished, and hospitality-driven Host / Server to join our growing team. This is a dynamic role where you'll welcome guests, provide attentive table service, assist with food running, and help maintain a beautifully presented dining room.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Provide attentive, professional table service
- Run food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Reset and prepare tables to Casa 1881 standards
- Maintain a clean, organized dining room throughout service
- Guide guests through our menu and recommend food, wine, and cocktails
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily side work
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to deliver seamless service
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability
- Knowledge of Italian food and wine is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate
