Class 1 Driver – Fluid & Gravel Hauling
Glo Enterprise Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Class 1 Driver to join our growing team in the Grande Prairie area. This position involves both oilfield fluid hauling and gravel hauling throughout the Peace Region.
This is a local position — drivers are typically home every night.
Position Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles for Oilfield fluid hauling & Gravel hauling
- Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily equipment inspections
- Operate in compliance with all company, customer, and regulatory safety standards
- Accurately complete all required: safety documentation & billing paperwork, e-logs and mobile applications
- Maintain compliance with Federal and Provincial Hours of Service regulations, DOT and OHS requirements, TDG regulations and safe hauling procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of local truck routes and TDG routes, road bans and seasonal restrictions, weights and dimensions regulations, and fatigue management practices
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Willingness to keep equipment clean and properly maintained
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Previous experience in Oilfield fluid hauling and Gravel hauling
- Valid: CSO, H2S Alive & Intermediate First Aid
- Experience using: e-logs, safety and dispatch applications
- Strong understanding of: Federal and Provincial Hours of Service legislation, DOT and OHS compliance & TDG regulations
- Ability to work independently and safely in changing road and weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
