Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
- Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a pristine environment.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and hygiene while adhering to health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest service are essential for success in this role.
