Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Previous restaurant experience, including supervision and team management, is essential. A background in food preparation, hospitality, or hotel management is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food delivery
- Supervise and train staff members, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality standards
- Handle POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems for efficient cash handling and order processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health codes
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplies to prevent shortages
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to uphold the restaurant’s reputation
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food presentation, menu updates, and special events
- Implement operational policies related to hospitality, serving standards, and overall restaurant management
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and handling procedures
- Excellent team management skills with experience supervising staff and conducting interviews
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order processing
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Leadership qualities that motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and optimize restaurant operations
- Experience with hospitality environments such as hotels or bars (Barista experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of food industry trends, menu development, and restaurant marketing strategies

Pay: $17.00-$32.00 per hour
