Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Social Media and Marketing Assistant to join our team! In this paid role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our online presence and attracting new clients through creative digital marketing strategies. Your passion for digital marketing, graphic design, and social media will help us connect with our community and showcase the benefits of our wellness services.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and others to promote our wellness services and special offers
- Manage scheduling and posting using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to ensure consistent online activity
- Design eye-catching graphics and promotional materials using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct keyword research to optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and improve online visibility
- Monitor and analyze website traffic with Google Analytics to assess campaign performance and identify growth opportunities
- Assist with digital advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising to reach targeted audiences effectively
- Proofread all marketing materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism before publication
- Network with businesses, companies or organizations to increase sales and collaborate to build a good business presence.
Experience
- Prior experience in digital marketing or social media management is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued
- Familiarity with E-commerce platforms is a plus for promoting online booking or gift card sales
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is essential
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research tools, and Google Analytics will help optimize marketing efforts
- Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer enhances efficiency in scheduling posts
- Strong proofreading skills ensure all content maintains high quality standards
- A passion for digital marketing, wellness industry knowledge, or previous experience in a health or beauty setting is advantageous
