Summary
We are seeking a Front Desk/Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hampton Inn by Hilton in St. Jacobs/Waterloo, Ontario Canada. Located in a vibrant community, this role is vital in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and have a comfortable stay. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the friendly face that helps bring our mission to life.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of guest reservations and preferences.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold the hotel’s standards of service and professionalism.
- Assist with multilingual communication as needed to serve diverse guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of front desk operations and multi-line phone systems.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
