General Manager & Assistant Manager New North Vancouver Location
Westcore Training is expanding to North Vancouver and we're looking for two exceptional leaders to help launch and grow our newest location.
Westcore is not a traditional gym. We specialize in Semi-Private Personal Training using fully equipped private workout pods, personalized programming, and professional coaching.
Full franchise and systems training will be provided.
GENERAL MANAGER
Starting Salary: $6,000 per Month + Growth Opportunities (Stock Options/Equity)
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the location. This is primarily a sales and leadership position with some client coaching responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead all sales and membership growth initiatives
- Conduct Intro/Trial Sessions and sales consultations
- Manage member retention and renewals
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Lead and support the training team
- Track KPIs, leads, appointments, sales, and retention
- Ensure exceptional customer service
- Assist with semi-private training sessions as needed
- Help build a positive and energetic culture
Ideal Candidate
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Leadership and management experience
- Passion for fitness and helping people
- Organized and goal-oriented
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
- Personal training experience is an asset. Must be certified
ASSISTANT MANAGER
Competitive Salary Based on Experience
The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for delivering outstanding coaching and member experiences on the training floor.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver Semi-Private Personal Training sessions
- Coach members on exercise technique and progression
- Assist with onboarding new members
- Help maintain personalized programming standards
- Support member retention through relationships and results
- Assist with scheduling, facility presentation, and daily operations
- Provide support to the General Manager when required
Ideal Candidate
- Personal Training certification or related fitness education
- Positive and energetic personality
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for helping clients achieve results
- Leadership aspirations are considered an asset
