Seeking a highly skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to efficinently multitask in a high volume and fast paced environment while delivering excellent food. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is required.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation skills
- Kitchen experience in the food industry is required
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different station responsibilities as needed
