- Knowledge of the functional and detailed design of integrated municipal infrastructure including roads, sewers and watermains

Understand a range of project design and implementation activities including development of design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administration

Working knowledge of current AutoCAD software; working knowledge of Civil 3D/Land Desktop software will be considered an asset

Knowledge of relevant municipal/provincial engineering standards and regulatory requirements

Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with local regulations, policies, guidelines, and provincial and municipal permit requirements for environmental agencies

Proven skills in detail design of municipal infrastructure

Familiarity with both construction inspection and contract administration would be considered an asset

Familiarity with Northern Canadian design or construction related practices would be considered an asset

Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills are essential
