Job Summary
We are currently looking for an In-Store Shipping & Receiving Associate to support the team at the Bathurst and Bloor location. The ideal candidate is organized, hard working and able to adapt to the business’s needs day to day.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process palletized or drop-shipped inventory and process inter-company transfers / shipments with accuracy
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and completing timely outbound and inbound shipments for Web, Commercial and Retail Clients
- Distribute stock over three floors using the stairs
- Work closely with leadership team for web, retail and commercial sales
- Effective and prompt coordination with other departments such as Commercial Sales, Customer Service, eCommerce, Purchasing and the Head Office / Satellite Warehouses
- Stock room organization and ongoing maintenance to keep tidy and safe
- Occasionally assist with the sales process including checking customers out, visual merchandising and other typical store tasks as required
- Enforce and follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse or stock experience - Required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs – Required
- High attention to detail – Required
- Ability to problem solve - Required
- Dependable and accountable – Required
- Experience using SAP - Asset
- Retail store Shipping / Receiving - Asset
