About the Role
The Storehouse Bar & Grill, located inside the Frobisher Inn, is seeking a reliable and guest focused Coat Check & Floor Support team member. This role combines coat check responsibilities with light bussing and floor support during busy service periods to help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the coat check area, ensuring coats and personal items are received, stored, and returned efficiently
- Politely remind guests to remove coats when required to maintain comfort and safety
- Observe guest activity near entrances and coat areas and notify bar security of any concerns or incidents
- Assist with table clearing, glassware removal, and resetting tables during rush periods
- Support servers and bar staff to maintain clean and organized service areas
- Maintain cleanliness in high traffic areas throughout the venue
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive guest interaction
Qualifications
- Hospitality, bar support, or customer service experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills and situational awareness
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team oriented
