WHAT ARE SOME OF THE COOL PROJECTS DESIGNED AND BUILT
- LS-24 light-weight aluminum winches for the R/V Shackleford research and hydrographic survey vessel
- 20-Ton capacity hose handling marine cranes complete with dual winches, wireless remote controls, and built in electric hydraulic power units for Shell Deer Park
- Containerized AUV Launch and Recovery System (LARS) to the University of Gothenburg for their Antarctic mission
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Interpret engineering drawings to assemble fabricated and purchased parts for manufacturing our equipment
- Follow projects from initial assembly to testing
- Participate in static and dynamic testing of finished equipment
WHO YOU ARE
- Previous experience in assembling hydraulic and mechanical systems is essential
- Proven experience interpreting blueprints to assembly heavy equipment in an manufacturing environment
- Hands on troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, overhaul, and maintenance of heavy equipment
- Licensed Mechanic and/or equivalent training/experience
- Intellectually curious, passionate about learning and being the best
- Sense of urgency, highly responsive and oriented towards action
- Can-do attitude, and respond in all situations with a positive and energized attitude
- Willing and able to work overtime
