We are an independently owned veterinary practice dedicated to providing medicine and client communication of the highest caliber. The Role
This is a dual-responsibility position requiring a seamless transition between front-desk operations and clinical support. We need a professional who can manage the front-of-house independently while remaining adaptable to assist in the treatment area when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Operations: Manage multi-line phone systems, book appointments accurately, triage patient needs over the phone, and handle client check-ins/check-outs and financial transactions.
- Clinical Support: Assist the medical team with safe patient restraint, pharmacy filling, laboratory processing, and maintaining strict hospital sanitation protocols.
- Continuity of Care: Build lasting, professional relationships with our long-term client base, serving as a trusted point of contact.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available at least every other Saturday morning (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Remaining part-time weekday hours will be discussed during the interview process.
- Experience: Prior experience in veterinary medicine or medical reception is highly preferred. Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a professional demeanor are required.
- Competency: Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure, maintain medical records, and handle animals with confidence and compassion.
