Job Description
At RiteWay Dewatering Services, we specialize in the treatment of sediment-laden water on (construction) sites before responsible discharge into the environment or city storm systems. RiteWay provides a variety of rental equipment as well as maintains and monitors our dewatering systems regularly.
Erosion Control Contractors specialize in erosion prevention options such as hydroseeding, quad-seeding, reclamation, revegetation, stream restoration, rolled erosion control products, straw placement, silt fence and tree protection installation.
The Wheel Wash Guys specialize in mechanical wheel washes for the construction industry.
Primary Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Working outdoors on construction sites
- Working in a warehouse setting at times
- Assist in the set-up and regular maintenance of Dewatering Systems
- General maintenance of Equipment, troubleshooting and diagnostics on Dewatering Systems to ensure proper function. Mechanical abilities a definite asset
- Inventory tracking
- Assist in the application of hydro-seed, straw placement, and other erosion control applications
- Operation of company vehicles (with trailers) and other equipment
- Observe and follow safety protocols in addition to utilizing personal protective equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Class 5 Driver's License Required (heavy haul endorsement an asset but not required)
- Class 3 Driver's License an asset
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs repeatedly (medium to high physical demand most days)
- Mechanical/Technical aptitude an asset
- Electrical aptitude an asset
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work outdoors in wet, cold, dusty, hot and/or muddy conditions
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset. If no experience, we will provide on-the-job training.
Initial Compensation is based on Experience. On-going compensation increases are based on Performance and Attitude
Erosion and Sediment Control and Dewatering Services are specific niches within the environmental and landscaping industries. It is a developing sector with opportunities to grow significantly within ESC Group Inc.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
