Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Entire Restaurant Team at Queen Street West location
- Oversee all restaurant operations, including Front of House and Kitchen teams
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members and supervisors
- Create a positive, motivated, and high-performing workplace culture
- Foster collaboration between service and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations
- Lead by example during peak service periods and special events
Oversee Kitchen Excellence
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain high food quality standards
- Ensure recipes, portion controls, food safety, and presentation standards are consistently followed
- Monitor food costs, inventory levels, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives
- Support menu innovation and seasonal feature development
- Create an environment where culinary creativity and operational efficiency thrive
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding hospitality and service
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Build customer loyalty and strengthen community relationships
- Develop experiences that reflect the vibrant and innovative Renso Pho-potle brand
Think Like an Entrepreneur
- Bring fresh ideas for promotions, events, partnerships, and guest engagement
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability
- Stay ahead of food, beverage, and hospitality trends
- Help shape and grow the Renso Pho-potle brand
Own the Business
- Manage scheduling, labour costs, budgeting, inventory, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace regulations
- Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvements
- Drive operational excellence across all areas of the restaurant
