Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and garment construction, with the ability to work with various fabrics and materials. As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in perfecting our clients' fit with their wedding dress that meet our customers' specifications and expectations. This position requires both technical sewing skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct garments and other textile products.
- Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on garments as needed.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric types.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various sewing machines and tools is an advantage.
