� Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
� Participation in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives
� Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
� Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S./CPR) certification
� Nursing experience caring for individuals with mental illness and/or addiction issues
� Demonstrated ability to manage behaviour and respond effectively in crisis situations
� Sound knowledge of psychiatric and mental health nursing practice, emergency psychiatry, crisis intervention, severe and persistent mental illness, addiction, trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and culturally competent care
� Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support therapeutic relationships and inter-professional collaboration
� Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills
� Ability to work effectively within a diverse inter-professional team environment
� Computer literacy and ability to use electronic clinical documentation systems
� Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
� CNA certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and/or Gerontology
� Knowledge of geriatric mental health, normal aging processes, and gerontological nursing principles
� Knowledge of forensic mental health systems and legal frameworks
� Experience with concurrent disorders and psychosocial rehabilitation models
� Experience facilitating therapeutic or psychoeducational groups
� Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language

Salary Range: $41.15– $58.98 per hour
