Overview
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and addressing inquiries
- Upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers to enhance sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are properly stocked
- Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support team members in maintaining a positive shopping environment
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Professional phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or online

Pay: $15.35-$17.00 per hour
