Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all requests are noted correctly.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to the work environment.
