Dental Laboratory Technician / RDT – Digital Production
We are a growing group of five modern dental practices in Southwestern Ontario looking for an experienced Dental Laboratory Technician or Registered Dental Technologist (RDT) to join our in-house digital laboratory team.
This is an opportunity to work with an established digital workflow—not build one from scratch.
About Us
Our group consists of five established dental practices with a strong commitment to digital dentistry. We have invested extensively in modern laboratory technology, including:
- Roland 5-disc milling system
- Multiple 3D printers
- Sintering and ceramic ovens
- Established digital workflows
- Dedicated CAD designer (all design work is already completed)
Your primary focus will be production, milling, finishing, quality control, and helping expand our digital laboratory capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Roland milling equipment
- CAM preparation, nesting, and production scheduling
- Zirconia staining, glazing, finishing, and polishing
- Sintering and ceramic processing
- Quality control of laboratory restorations
- Operate and maintain 3D printers and post-processing equipment
- Equipment maintenance and inventory management
- Collaborate with our doctors and CAD designer to deliver high-quality restorations
- Experience with 3D-printed dentures is considered a strong asset
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in:
- Dental laboratory production
- Roland milling systems or comparable CAD/CAM mills
- Zirconia staining and glazing
- Digital dentistry workflows
- Ceramic finishing
- Implant restorative cases
Preferred qualifications:
- Registered Dental Technologist (RDT)
- Experience with 3D-printed dentures
- Exocad and/or 3Shape familiarity
- Production management experience
