Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, prepare and package takeout orders, maintain attractive food displays, and help ensure the restaurant operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
● Take customer orders in person and over the phone.
● Process cash, debit, and credit card payments accurately.
● Pack takeout and delivery orders carefully and accurately.
● Replenish and maintain food displays to ensure products are fresh and presented attractively.
● Assist with serving prepared food while following portion and quality standards.
● Keep the front counter, dining area, and food display clean, organized, and sanitized.
● Restock packaging supplies, beverages, condiments, and other inventory as needed.
● Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
● Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
● Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
● Previous experience in customer service, food service, or a restaurant is an asset.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
● Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
● Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
● Food Safety certification is an asset.
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
