Ace Trades and Technical Institute (ATTI) is seeking an experienced Carpentry Instructor to teach the Introduction to Carpentry course as part of the Immigrant Women in Trades (IWT) program.
Position Details
- Contract: July 27, 2026 – August 28, 2026 (5 weeks)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Location: On Campus
- Pay: $30–$50 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on carpentry instruction.
- Teach basic carpentry skills, safe use of tools, and workplace safety.
- Prepare lessons, assess student progress, and maintain a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Carpenter Certification or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous teaching or training experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring adult learners.
