Chatime Castlemore is seeking a motivated, dependable, and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to operational excellence, enjoys leading a team, and is ready to take on a high level of responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with upper management to oversee daily store operations, develop team members, maintain high operational standards, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will serve as an extension of management by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring all store procedures align with Chatime standards.
Schedule & Availability
This is a full-time position (40–44 hours per week) requiring:
- Open availability Monday through Sunday
- Ability to work opening and closing shifts
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to work varying schedules based on business needs
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team by providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficient service, product quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive and accountable work environment.
- Monitor inventory, place orders, verify deliveries, and minimize product waste.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and overall store organization.
- Handle operational issues, customer concerns, and communicate updates with upper management.
- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the store.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience in retail, food service, or hospitality preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- High level of accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
