Primary duties:
- As an Inside Sales and Design Representative, you will be responsible for assisting walk-in clients and managing inbound inquiries within our showroom, guiding customers through the cabinetry selection and design process. You will work closely with homeowners, renovators, builders, and designers to develop tailored solutions that align with project needs while upholding Kekuli Bay Cabinetry’s reputation for quality and service.
- This role is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused sales professional with strong design aptitude and proven experience in cabinetry, millwork, or building materials, who thrives in a fast-paced showroom environment and is driven to convert opportunities into completed projects.
Responsibilities:
- Serve and engage walk-in clients in the showroom, providing knowledgeable guidance on cabinetry solutions, finishes, and layouts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, renovators, builders, and designers through in-showroom interactions and follow-up communication.
- Lead client consultations from initial needs assessment through design concepts, product selection, and quotation.
- Prepare accurate quotes and proposals, and actively follow up to convert opportunities into closed sales.
- Collaborate closely with design, ordering, and installation teams to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience.
- Achieve or exceed individual sales targets, with a strong focus on showroom conversion rates and project closing.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including materials, trends, and design best practices, to confidently advise clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in cabinetry, millwork, or related building products, preferably in a showroom or customer-facing environment.
- Proven ability to convert walk-in traffic and inbound inquiries into closed sales.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to guide clients through design decisions and purchasing processes.
- Experience working with homeowners, renovators, and builders in a consultative sales capacity.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and maintaining high conversion rates.
- Proficiency with quoting systems, design software, and standard business tools is considered an asset.
