SWIM TEST AND INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD ON SIDE AT THE NIAGARA FALLS LIONS CLUB POOL LOCATED AT 4981 DRUMMOND ROAD NIAGARA FALLS.
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team who are interested in becoming Lifeguards in Training. As a Lifeguard in Training, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and enjoyment of our guests. In order to become a Lifeguard, you will be required to pass a swim test of 400 meters in 11 minutes.

Monday to Friday shifts available 8:00am-4:15pm - Able to achieve Full-Time with benefits
Afternoon shift 4pm-8:15pm - Great for students looking for Part-Time!
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Observe and provide vigilant surveillance of guests during park hours and special events.
- Enforce the rules and regulations of the waterpark.
- Demonstrates ability to provide expert care, sensitive consideration and efficient service to guests.
- Advises management of unsafe and unsanitary conditions.
- Perform daily routine chores and maintenance of waterpark to ensure neat and orderly appearance.
- Assist and communicate with a high volume of guests in a professional and courteous manner; ensure a positive public relations image.
Qualifications & Traits:
** Swim test available for applicants that do not possess current National Lifeguard or Bronze Cross.
- Possess current certifications of Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (valid for 3 years).
- Possess current NLS or Bronze Cross certification (valid for 2 years); HCP-CPR/Oxygen/AED Training.
- Reliable, punctual, able to handle a high level of responsibility.
- Capable of working in a hot, humid and chlorinated environment, standing and walking for long periods of time in water.
- Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs.
- Ability to maintain fitness requirements for held awards.
