Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring for children, preparing meals, ( Congolese cuisine)maintaining cleanliness, and engaging children in educational and recreational activities. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a supportive team setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children of various ages, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, specially Congolese cuisine
- Assist with daily activities such as playtime, learning exercises, and rest periods
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties
- Support children with special needs or disabilities through personalized caregiving strategies
- Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages growth and confidence
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children, including those with disabilities, is preferred
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform meal preparation tasks
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning routines to maintain a hygienic environment
- Experience teaching or guiding children in developmental activities is a plus
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
